Position Description:
The AVIONICS TECHNICIAN will repair, modify, install, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance of all Avionics systems with accuracy and with minimal assistance. Will need to accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Perform routine maintenance, avionics installations and set up

• Troubleshoot and repair and/or check complex systems
• Properly use Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations
• Take immediate corrective action regarding unsafe conditions
• Operate ground support equipment as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

What You Bring to the Team:
• 3-5 years’ minimum field experience as an Avionics Tech or A&P with Avionics Exp.

• Knowledgeable with GARMIN installation and set-up preferable. (G1000, G5000, G3X, etc.) but will consider experience with another platform
• Experience with harness making
• Previous employment in either a certified or high performance experimental aircraft desirable
• Knowledge of other aircraft systems e.g. hydraulic, flight controls, etc. and major components.
• Basic knowledge of avionics tooling
• Proficient with using hand tools
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to follow CADD drawings & electrical schematics
• High level attention to detail.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot basic problems.
• High energy level with ability to multi-task while balancing and prioritizing project work with daily responsibilities.
• Reliable and dependable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
• Candidate shall not be a foreign national. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) is required
